Nobody from this site will ever contact you asking for money, and we have no partners, affiliates, resellers, sponsors or agents who are allowed to do so on our behalf. There is no such thing as an "Eat a Fruit" membership, giveaway, prize, token, coin, investment or support agent.
If you receive an email, message, call or advert claiming otherwise โ even if it uses this site's name, look, or a similar-looking web address โ it is a scam. Do not pay, do not share card or bank details, and do not install anything it asks you to. The only address this site lives at is https://eatafruit.org; anything else is not us.
When you tap a fruit, one line is written down: which fruit, which day, and, if it can be worked out at all, which country and continent the tap came from. Those are added up into the totals you see on the front page.
It also counts how many times the page was opened each day โ a single number for everyone together, nothing about who opened it.
To stop a single person (or a bored robot) recording a thousand fruits a day, the server turns your internet address into a scrambled, one-way code using a secret key, and remembers only that. It cannot be turned back into your address, it is never shown anywhere, and it is used for exactly one thing: counting to ten.
None. The page, the pictures, the font and the counter all come from this site's own server. Your visit talks to nobody else.
There is nothing here to sign up for and nothing to buy, so the site is safe for anyone to use. It asks one question about fruit and counts the answers.
